Family Shoot in the Ferry – harpers ferry photographer
1August 27, 2010 by Brandon S. Warren
Whatever you do. Don’t shoot in Historic Harpers Ferry without a special use permit. Or be prepared to sweet talk the guards.
Well this time I did none of the above. I took Laura and her family there during a weeknight and guess what???? It was vacant. Not a soul on the street and that makes for a nice image out there. Weekend in the Ferry are a madhouse. Take my word for it.
So Laura and the family drove in from Mt. Airy to shoot and we decided to get this done before she was sending her husband off to the middle east. I happen to do alot of shoots similar to that same situation and its pretty sad…. when just the other day they were acting like everyone was coming home. They sure aren’t .
Anyways, We closed our session with lollypop bribes for the kids. The only equipment I managed to use on this shoot were my camera and 2 speed lights. for all the technical nuts out there sb800′s.
Till next
Enjoi.

Even though our kids are young, and didnt quite want to participate…you were wonderful to work with Shane. You shouldve added to never forget bugspray when going to Harpers Ferry!! Good grief they were bad that day! These pictures have been Billy’s desktop backround on his laptop overseas, so everytime he opens his computer to contact us, these family photos from you are the first thing he sees. We love em! We also look forward to future photo sessions with you. Thanks again
