I spent some time in Laplata, MD shooting the wedding of Lauren and Palmer with my bud Jason, I think this wedding had the most laid back and funny officiant ever. It was a Catholic wedding which came with a few rules and limitations on movement during certain times of the service, Which was not at all a problem. The priest was hilarious all throughout the service , and happened to thank us photographers out loud during the service for being so “non-obtrusive” .

After the ceremony he kicked us all out , literally . So we decided we will have no other choice but to do formal group shots outside under the bright 2pm sun, I saw a city street and my eyes lit up, Jason said ” Do your thing” and I took them to the fountain in the middle of the street, which really was the only decent place in the walking distance we had. I liked the contrast of the wedding party against the fancy buildings .

The day ended in a mansion back in a residential area that was converted into a working reception hall, Pretty awesome. It was small and really made pictures tough, but all in all we made the most of it and came home with some good stuff for the couple.
